Setting up FAQs
The mainstay of the Karate for Kids program is character development. We teach Karate's "ABCs" in a fun playful way for students to develop a good Attitude, the Basic skills necessary for them to Control and master the karate techniques as well as develop essential habits for success in life.
Since students may have different needs, please let us know of any physical or medical challenges your child may have. We will do our very best to help.
The Karate for Kids Program is a goal oriented system which promotes The Black Belt Excellence Training Philosophy; proven as the best personal development tool, for dedicated practitioners (youngsters and adults) to achieve personal, scholastic, and professional goals.
Safety equipment will be required during sparring sessions. Sparring is done with good control (light contact) and safety gear is mandatory. Protective helmet, gloves, mouth piece, groin protector for boys and foot pads.
Belt testing is also a part of the goal setting system for all students participating, and takes place at different intervals depending if student is at a beginner, intermediate, or advanced level. Please ask Sensei Olivares about the testing schedule.
